Manuela Stanisic

What began with occasional interior design requests from friends and family soon grew into a clear passion: creating spaces that don't just look beautiful, but tell stories and convey a sense of warmth and belonging.

A key moment came when she photographically documented her own spaces, and an investor recognized a distinctive feel for structure and atmosphere in her work. This encouragement inspired her to take the next step and found her own company.

Shaped by her career in aesthetic dentistry, she developed an early and pronounced understanding of precision, attention to detail, and the interplay between perception and well-being.

Her curiosity led her further into the international fashion and events industry, where she worked as a production assistant. There she experienced firsthand how staging, space and design can create emotion and move people — among other things through projects for the Swiss embassies in Amsterdam and Berlin, the graduate fashion show of Vivienne Westwood's fashion class at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), and the silk congress at Villa Erba on Lake Como in Italy.

EJO LIVING stands for bespoke interior architecture of the highest precision and timeless elegance. Since 2019 — initially as a sole proprietorship, and as a GmbH from 2025 — projects have been created for private residences, multi-family buildings, hotels, restaurants, retail spaces and institutions.

At the core are vision, branding, spatial concept, interior and exterior, bespoke furniture development, materialization, production support, execution, logistics and final handover. Every step follows a clear signature — a common thread that runs consistently through every detail. This holistic way of working is not a process, but part of EJO LIVING's DNA.
